Since the late 1980's, the CAiSE conferences have provided a forum for the presentation and exchange of research results and practical experiences within the field of Information Systems Engineering. CAiSE'01 was held in the beautiful resort of Interlaken located near the three famous Swiss mountains - the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
